‘Cut and Run – Complex Embellished Surfaces’

1 – 6 August 2010

Manipulate fabrics and fibres and further decorate them with hand and machine stitching. Slashing, painting, printing, and dyeing will be in there too. Some of the time will be spent using embellisher machines which will be provided for those who don’t already own one.

‘Collage Trio in Mixed Media’

December 3 -5 2010

A chance to work simultaneously on different background surfaces to create a small, partly collaged, themed series using mixed media.  Each artwork will be your own unique creation.  Have fun with colour, doodling, printing and glue on paper, canvas and fabric.  No stitching involved, but this could be added later.

‘More Abstract Landscapes on the Embellisher’

18 – 20 March 2011

During this fun weekend you will learn new techniques, then combine your samples in a variety of ways to create abstract landscapes.  Bring your own embellisher or book early and reserve one of ours when enrolling on the course.  Limited number of embellisher available on loan.
