Woollen yarn: There is enough to make 4 flowers using the same technique as demonstrated. The yarn can also be used for other projects and techniques. As well as the main colour you will receive enough to make a few leaves to add to your flowers.

Vegetarian Silk: This lovely fabric can be pulled apart to make the centre of your flowers, or used to create areas of texture in other projects. (More information here)

Hand-dyed Viscose Felt: This isn’t required in the making of the above flowers, but can be used for the quick ‘poppy’ shaped flower that I also demonstrated. There is enough for four of these, and plenty of vegetarian silk to make the centres. Of course, it can also be used for other techniques. Please don’t confuse this with the wool/viscose felt that is readily available. This is a particularly soft viscose felt which is easy to manipulate on the embellisher. It will break down easily too, making it a dream for adding texture.

Black Kunin Felt: This is my felt of choice for construction. You will only need small pieces for the flowers, leaving you with plenty for experimentation. It is strong enough to be used for bags or boots, it won’t let you down. You will receive approx 50 x 50 cm of black felt. You will need a safety pin or brooch back to complete the flowers as a brooch, or sew them on to a scarf, bag or jumper for instant colour and admiring comments.
